Two exceptional identities
Special by origin.
Not by rarity.
Genesis and APEX shoes are always Common, but their identity grants rights that ordinary shoes do not have.
A Genesis is defined by its numbered first-generation origin. An APEX is created from five rare components. They remain distinct families, even though an APEX receives every right granted to a Genesis.

A rare numbered origin
Born without parents through the Starter Pack or an official team allocation. Every true Genesis carries a permanent G- serial number.
- Always rare by design
- Type chosen or drawn
- Future benefits and perks
- Genesis badge and rights

An assembled endgame shoe
Created from five different APEX pieces and PACE. Every APEX carries its own permanent A- serial number.
- Always Common
- Always Explorer
- Level 0 at creation
- Third item slot advantage
The Genesis series
Rare from the beginning. Valuable over time.
Every Genesis belongs to one chronological G- series. Its number records its place in PULSE history, while future benefits and perks will continue to strengthen the identity of the collection.
Numbered for life
The G- serial remains attached to the shoe and marks its original place in the Genesis series.
A special collection
Genesis shoes will remain intentionally rare rather than becoming an ordinary production category.
More perks to come
Genesis ownership is designed to receive additional benefits as the PULSE universe expands.
Build the complete set
Five pieces create one APEX
Collect exactly one of each component, then pay the assembly cost. Nothing is consumed unless every requirement is available.
01Sole
02Upper
03Lace
04Core
05HeelAPEX pieces are rare Sport Bag rewards. Completing a full set is designed as a long-term objective; the Sole is the rarest component.
A protected starting profile
No weak attribute
Each of the four base attributes is drawn normally, then raised to 5 if the result is lower. This guarantees a balanced minimum without guaranteeing a perfect shoe.
Rights and differences
An APEX inherits—then adds a real advantage
Whenever the game grants a special right to Genesis shoes, APEX shoes qualify too. The APEX then goes further with an additional active equipment slot.
The third slot is not cosmetic. It lets the player equip one more compatible item, combine an additional strategic effect and prepare more precisely for weather, injuries, bad events or performance.
Numbered origin
Uses the rare G- series and keeps its natural shoe type.
Forge Restore eligible
Both families may use the special card while Common.
Third item slot
An active APEX carries three items instead of two—a concrete advantage in every preparation strategy.
Explorer guaranteed
Every APEX supports the complete 1–20 km/h speed range.

A final-use strategic card
Forge Restore
The card removes one completed Forge from an eligible Genesis or APEX Common shoe, allowing that shoe to Forge once more.
It can be used repeatedly, but its real strategic value comes when a shoe has exhausted its normal Forge capacity. Used earlier, it only moves the shoe back by one cost step.
The card is available from the PULSE Store and does not drop from Sport Bags, the Daily Locker or the Forge.Read the identity correctly
