Create the next generation
Forge opens at 25 km
Reaching Step 1 — Apprentice unlocks the player’s right to Forge.
Two eligible shoes produce a closed shoebox. The parents are never destroyed: they keep their level, attributes, sockets and pods, while each uses one lifetime Forge and enters a 48-hour recovery period.
The required pair
Left meets Right
The parents must be two different shoes with opposite feet. `L` means Left; `R` means Right.
Left shoe
Right shoe
Closed shoeboxBefore the Forge button activates
Both parents must be ready
Every failed condition is shown beside the shoe. Candidates remain visible; the game explains why they cannot be selected.
Level 10+
Each parent must have reached at least level 10.
100 durability
Both shoes must be fully repaired, even in Expert.
Opposite feet
One Left and one Right shoe, never the same shoe twice.
Available
Not injured, leveling, listed for sale, soulbound or currently resting.
Forge remaining
Each shoe must still have at least one lifetime Forge available.
No active run
The complete action takes place while the player is stopped.
The Standard journey
Calculate each parent separately
The Forge price is the sum of both parents. Read each shoe’s own completed Forge count, find its price, then add the two values.
First Common-pair Forge
Commons never require PRIME
One quota per Common parent
Applied independently to each parent
A mixed pair simply adds the current individual price and quota requirement of each parent. Every shoe has five lifetime Forges.
PACE cost per parent
| Parent rarity | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 200 | 200 | 300 | 400 | 500 |
| Uncommon | 800 | 800 | 1,200 | 1,600 | 2,000 |
| Rare | 1,800 | 1,800 | 2,700 | 3,600 | 4,500 |
| Mythic | 4,000 | 4,000 | 6,000 | 8,000 | 10,000 |
Read each parent separately, then add both amounts. The first Common pair therefore costs 200 + 200 = 400 PACE.
PRIME cost per parent
| Parent rarity | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Uncommon | 0 | 0 | 120 | 180 | 270 |
| Rare | 0 | 0 | 180 | 270 | 405 |
| Mythic | 0 | 0 | 240 | 360 | 540 |
Common parents never require PRIME.
Forge quotas per parent
| Parent rarity | Quotas | Energy equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 | 15 |
| Uncommon | 6 | 90 |
| Rare | 18 | 270 |
| Mythic | 45 | 675 |
Two parents of the same rarity cost 2, 12, 36 or 90 quotas. For a mixed pair, add the two parent values.
Forge capacity earned by playing
15 Energy creates one quota
Every completed run adds its paid Energy to a permanent account counter. Each complete block of 15 awards one Forge quota; the remainder carries forward.
There is no daily reset, no expiration and no storage limit. A quota waits until the player chooses to use it.

Parents are preserved—not unlimited
Five lifetime Forges per shoe
The Forge changes only two parent values: one Forge is consumed and a 48-hour recovery begins.
No development is removed.
The shoe keeps its full setup.
One lifetime use is consumed.
Only those two parents rest.
What is decided—and when
The box keeps the suspense
The Forge determines only the shoebox rarity. The shoe inside is not fully generated until the box is opened.
Shoebox rarity
Based on the rarity pairing of the two parents.
Parent heritage
Parent identity, types and sockets remain available for the opening draw.
New shoe details
Rarity, type, foot and socket inheritance are revealed.
While only Common is active, any higher result is reduced to the highest open rarity. It is not stored for later.

Socket quality by shoe rarity
| New shoe | Common | Uncommon | Rare | Mythic | Legendary |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 90% | 10% | — | — | — |
| Uncommon | 30% | 60% | 10% | — | — |

| Mythic | 10% | 10% | 30% | 40% | 10% |
| Legendary | — | 10% | 20% | 30% | 40% |
Socket quality follows the new shoe’s rarity. Each of the four socket qualities is drawn independently.
Shoe type from the parent types
| Parent types | Walker | Jogger | Runner | Explorer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Walker × Walker | 87% | 5% | 5% | 3% |
| Walker × Jogger | 46% | 46% | 5% | 3% |
| Walker × Runner | 46% | 5% | 46% | 3% |
| Walker × Explorer | 82% | 5% | 5% | 8% |
| Jogger × Jogger | 5% | 87% | 5% | 3% |
| Jogger × Runner | 5% | 46% | 46% | 3% |
| Jogger × Explorer | 5% | 82% | 5% | 8% |
| Runner × Runner | 5% | 5% | 87% | 3% |
| Runner × Explorer | 5% | 5% | 82% | 8% |
| Explorer × Explorer | 25% | 25% | 25% | 25% |
An armed Explorer Chance doubles the Explorer probability: 3% → 6%, 8% → 16%, and 25% → 50%. The other three outcomes shrink proportionally so the row always remains 100%.
Socket type from the pair drawn from the parents
| Pair drawn | Type drawn from A | Type drawn from B | Remaining types |
|---|---|---|---|
| Same type on both parents | 73% | — | 9% each × 3 |
| Two different types | 42% | 42% | 8% each × 2 |
For each of the child’s four sockets, one socket is selected from each parent and the pair reads this table. The four draws are independent. The percentages total 100%: 73% + (3 × 9%) when the pair matches, and 42% + 42% + (2 × 8%) when the pair differs. A shoe without parents draws every socket type uniformly at 25%.

A possible second result
Double Box chance grows with experience
The more Forges the two parents have already completed, the higher the chance of receiving a second shoebox. A Double Box card doubles that chance for the selected Forge.
The second box draws its rarity independently. The card is consumed only if the Forge actually starts.
