24 Fair Play & Security

Real movement.
Protected progress.

Every honest kilometre should matter. PULSE protects the effort behind each run, the assets built over time and the balance shared by the entire community.

24

The foundation of competition

Fairness is part of the game

PULSE is built around real outdoor movement. Progress earned without that movement weakens rankings, rewards and the value of every legitimate player’s effort.

Runs and sensitive actions are therefore checked by the game’s validation systems. Their purpose is simple: reward genuine play while identifying patterns that are not compatible with the rules.

Four layers of integrity

Protection follows the whole journey

No single signal tells the entire story. PULSE considers movement, the active session, account behaviour and important economic actions together.

01Movement integrity

Distance, speed and route behaviour must remain consistent with genuine walking, jogging or running.

02Session integrity

Energy, elapsed time, the selected Shoe and the final result must describe one coherent run.

03Account integrity

Accounts must represent genuine individual play rather than coordinated abuse or reward farming.

04Economic integrity

Marketplace and progression actions must respect ownership, eligibility and the current state of every asset.

What counts

Walk. Jog. Run.

PULSE rewards human-powered movement within the rules of the active Shoe. Driving, cycling, using a scooter, manipulating location data or generating artificial movement is not valid play.

A weak or interrupted GPS signal is not automatically treated as cheating. Validation looks for consistency across the session rather than judging a player from one isolated point.

From GPS points to a result

A run must tell one coherent story

The exact security models remain private. What players need to know is what the game expects from a legitimate session.

01Start

The mode, Shoe and active equipment are locked for the session.

→
02Move

Location, time and movement signals build the run minute by minute.

→
03Check

The session is assessed for consistency with genuine outdoor movement.

→
04Finalize

Eligible progress is settled once when the run ends.

Security through discretionPULSE publishes the rules players must follow, but not the thresholds or detection logic used to enforce them.

Behaviours that break fair play

Clear rules. No hidden permission.

LocationGPS spoofing

Falsifying, replaying or manipulating location data.

TransportMotor-assisted movement

Using vehicles, scooters or other transport to imitate a valid run.

AutomationArtificial activity

Using scripts, emulators, automation or physical systems to generate progress.

AccountsMulti-account abuse

Operating coordinated accounts to farm rewards, rankings or system limits.

MarketManipulation

Using deceptive trades, coordinated activity or exploits to distort the Marketplace.

SystemsExploit abuse

Knowingly using unintended behaviour to duplicate, preserve or obtain value.

When activity needs attention

Detection is not the final word

Unusual activity may be limited or reviewed before it affects progression, rankings or the economy. The response depends on the evidence, the impact and whether the behaviour is repeated.

Security rules and controls may evolve as new forms of abuse appear. Changes are designed to protect legitimate play, not to create an advantage for the system over the player.

01Flag

A run or action shows an unusual pattern.

02Assess

Relevant session and account signals are reviewed together.

03Resolve

The activity is cleared, limited or acted upon according to the evidence.

Proportionate enforcement

The response follows the behaviour

Not every anomaly carries the same meaning. Persistent or deliberate abuse receives a stronger response than an isolated technical inconsistency.

Low confidenceResult limited or withheld

Affected progress may remain uncredited while the session cannot be validated.

Repeated concernAccount restrictions

Specific game functions may be temporarily limited while activity is reviewed.

Confirmed abuseProgress corrected

Invalid rewards, rankings or advantages may be removed.

Severe or repeated abuseAccount suspension

Deliberate attacks on the game or its economy may lead to permanent exclusion.

Exact measures may vary with the nature and severity of the violation. Where appropriate, players will be given a way to contact PULSE Support.

Protect your progress

Your account is part of your equipment

Security also begins with the player. Protecting access to the account helps protect every Shoe, Pod, Item and resource connected to it.

01Use an email account only you control.
02Never share access codes or recovery information.
03Review asset details and prices before confirming an action.
04Use official PULSE channels, applications and links.
